The search for a missing woman from Muncie came to a devastating conclusion on Thursday, after her remains were discovered in southeastern Delaware County. 46-year-old Marcia L. Curtis, has been confirmed as a victim of homicide, as reported by Deputy Police Chief Melissa Criswell. In a press release issued early Thursday afternoon, Criswell has requested the public’s assistance in locating Marcia Curtis. In a recent development, the deputy police chief revealed that detectives have taken significant strides in their investigation. Acting on valuable information obtained during their ongoing inquiry, law enforcement officials successfully located the remains of the missing woman. The discovery took place at an abandoned property situated along East Delaware County Road 800-S. In April, Curtis found himself facing charges of invasion of privacy in Randolph Superior Court. Curtis’ record consists of convictions for various offences, including arson, criminal mischief, driving while intoxicated, intimidation, public intoxication, residential entry, and resisting law enforcement.
